History of the Shell Club
The Shell Club was originally formed in 1952 by a handful of workers at the Shell refinery.
A tin shed that served as a clubhouse was erected on the same site that the club occupies today.
Over the years it evolved from that sparse beginning to a venue hosting a variety of entertainment for the members to enjoy.
The Shell Club currently boasts an impressive array of facilities including bars, Bistro, Function Rooms, TAB Kiosk, Keno and a Gaming Room with 77 Gaming Machines.
The initial concept of a facility to cater for a small group of friends has grown into a Club that all can enjoy and one that the founding members can be and are proud of.
